ODAC Board Announcement
The O.D.A.C. Board of Directors is pleased to introduce you to Kelly Taylor, who has recently been appointed to the Board as Secretary. Kelly will fill the role vacated by Giselle Leclair. We are very pleased to have the opportunity to work with Kelly and look forward to availing her expertise.
Kelly has recently returned to the Okanagan, specifically Osoyoos, after spending the past eight years working as the Director of Finance for an international Charity based out of the UK. With a background in project management and anthropology, Kelly brings to ODAC a not-for-profit management experience strongly focused on finance, legal and regulatory compliance. She has developed successful working partnerships with governments, international organizations such as, the World Bank, UNESCO, DFID as well as major philanthropic groups such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, GAVI and the Shell Foundation to name a few. Kelly hopes to be able to support O.D.A.C. specifically in areas of expanding existent revenue streams and securing new funding, as well as ensuring the compliance, reporting and regulatory requirements are in place in order to support growth in accordance with the BC Societies Act and the requirements of other regulators.
