The Osoyoos Blues Society was formed in March, 2019
The Society will be presenting shows at various locations in Osoyoos, as well as in other communities in the Southern Interior of BC. Most of the shows will be in Osoyoos. The Osoyoos Blues Society will be raising money to help young performers develop their skills.
While the majority of shows will feature “Blues” music, other styles of music will also be presented.
The Society is honored to have received a nomination for the 2019 ARTS & CULTURE ENGAGEMENT AWARD which is presented by the Osoyoos and District Arts Council.
Memberships cost $20 each and are available to purchase at shows or you can email ticketsosoyoosblues@gmail.com and purchase via an e-transfer. A member would purchase a ticket at the regular price, and get $5.00 back when the member comes to the show. People who purchase memberships at an event, get a $5.00 cash back as well.

Angelique Francis Band at the Venables Theatre
FRIDAY, JANUARY 17
Angelique Francis will be making her first appearance in BC. She will be flying in from Ottawa with her Band to do the show.
She is a rising star on the Canadian Blues scene and has toured internationally since she was 13 and appeared on the Oprah Network.

This multi-talented, multi-instrumentalist, multi-genre singer song writer and composer has wowed audiences across the globe with her electrifying performances, instrumental abilities and powerful textured vocals. Angelique started performing in Festivals at the age of 13 after appearing on the “Oprah Network. ” She is known for her eclectic mix of various musical genres including Blues, Soul, Jazz, and Gospel. Angelique’s soulful Smoky vocals and instrumental techniques are reminiscent of a bygone era, but with a unique and modern sensibility. This show will be her first in Western Canada.
